The flagship event of the Political Studies Association of Ireland (PSAI) is the Annual Conference, held each October at a different location. The 2017 PSAI Annual Conference took place in All Hallows’ Campus, Dublin City University over the weekend of 13th-15th October 2017.

While the conference features panels on Irish politics, it is not confined to topics of purely Irish focus.

The conference is hosted by the School of Law and Government at DCU. Special thanks to the organisers Christine Andreeva, Eoin O’Malley and Gary Murphy.

The All Hallows campus is located in Drumcondra village, a few minutes by bus from Dublin City Centre (routes 1, 13, 16, 33, 41). It is close to Dublin airport (approx. €15 by taxi or €6 by bus). There are plenty of B&Bs within walking distance of the conference. The Skylon Hotel is also just a couple of minutes walk away. To secure a PSAI rate of €139 single/ €149 double per night put in ‘psai’ in the corporate log-in box. There are a limited number of rooms available at this rate.

Registration will open in early July. There will be reduced rates for those registering before 13th September. Members of the PSAI enjoy reduced rates. The conference will not be accepting money for new PSAI memberships or renewals. Information on PSAI membership is here; new members can fill out this form, or you can renew your membership here.
